Hakurei Turnip

This tender little salad turnip adds a delicious, sweet crunch. Unlike other turnips. they can be eaten raw or cooked.

Storage Instructions

Remove the greens from turnips and store in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator. The roots will last 7-10 days. Greens can be stored in a separate bag but should be used in 2-3 days.

  • Slice for use in salads or as a taco topping

Grower’s Notes

Hakurei turnips are a fleeting delicacy of spring. While they take a little longer to grow than radishes, they’re generally harvested in the same window. Enjoy them while they’re here!
